SAFETeen Partners Meet in Valencia to Prepare for the Project’s Final Stage

The SAFETeen consortium gathered in Valencia, Spain, for its 5th Partners’ Meeting, bringing together project partners to review progress, discuss outstanding activities and coordinate the final steps towards the successful completion of the project. As SAFETeen approaches its final stage, the meeting provided an important opportunity to assess achievements, align priorities and ensure that all partners are working towards the project’s shared objectives: improving road safety education for young people through innovative and engaging learning approaches.

Reviewing progress and planning the next steps

During the meeting, partners reviewed progress across all Work Packages and Deliverables, discussing completed activities and identifying the remaining tasks that need to be addressed before the project concludes.

A key focus was the organisation of the upcoming Multiplier Events in Finland, Greece, Italy and Cyprus. These events will provide opportunities to present the project’s results, share its educational resources and raise awareness on the importance of road safety education among relevant stakeholders. The consortium also discussed outstanding responsibilities, final deadlines and the overall project timeline, ensuring a coordinated approach to the remaining work.

Preparing for a successful conclusion

Another important topic was the preparation of the Final Report and the supporting documentation required to demonstrate the project’s achievements and impact. Partners discussed the necessary requirements and agreed on the next steps to ensure that all contributions are completed and submitted on time. Through this collaborative process, the SAFETeen consortium continues to work towards maximising the project’s impact and ensuring that its results reach educators, students and other stakeholders involved in road safety education. As the project moves towards completion, the partners remain committed to promoting safer behaviours among young people and supporting more effective approaches to road safety learning.
